Renewable Fuels
Biogases, such as biomethane and hydrogen, can be produced through a natural decomposition process known as Anaerobic Digestion.
Through this process, organic material that comes from plants and animals is converted into a variety of resources under oxygen free conditions. We partner with local plants to ensure waste only travels as far as it has to, reducing our carbon footprint.
We fill a key gap in the industry; we collect the waste that needs to be disposed of, and we can provide this to plants that need it to create biogas.
How it works...
Bacteria is used to breakdown the waste food into sugars, fatty acids and amino acids. Which are then in turn converted into methane. Once the methane is captured it can be used as a fuel to power generators, trucks or be fed back into the national grid.
